Heh heh, so someone recognises them. Thing with the majority of the Touhou cast though is that they don't normaly look like typical Youkai. Ran at least only takes a semi human form most of the time. I felt that image fit the thread well enough. Don't worry, I won't go flooding the thread with loosely related Touhou images. I'm trying to be respectful rather than following the stereotype of an invading overenthusiastic fan.

Would Yukime from "Jigoku Sensei Nu~be~" count as a yuki-onna too? Haven't seen the series, but from a game I have she seems to have freezing breath and uses her beauty to "lure" men...

Touhou Fan, there must be other touhou characters that could easily go as youkai... Chen/Orin are Bakaneko/Nekomata... Kogasa uses a Karakasa... and can't remember others who could fit... (this made me notice Touhou is missing a Jyorogumo)

It's one of my favorite television shows. Yukime is a yuki-onna.

For a moment I was about to say that Touhou does have a Jyorogumo, Yamame Kurodani, but upon checking turns out she's actually a Tsuchigumo. Also, actually Kogasa doesn't use a Karakasa, she is the Karakasa. The human like body that caries the umbella is more like a spiritual extension of herself that she created. I guess its tough to get taken seriously when your normal body is a one eye umbrella huh?

For another there's the doll turned Tsukumo-gami, Medicine Meloncony. But spare maybe some doll joints depending on the artist she just looks like a normal girl. There's Nitori too, a Kappa, which I find amusing when fans dispute whether or not she's hiding a bald spot under her cap. Otherwise looks normal. That's the thing, Touhou has dozens of youkai, but most look human. Otherwise I'd have a few gigabytes of suitable pictures handy to share.
