University classes have started again, even though I am still trying to fix a financial aid problem and hoping that I don't get stuck up Poop Creek without proper naval navigation equipment.
I also have an upcoming hysterectomy on the 22nd of February (this month). The doctors were hoping to avoid such a big step at my young age, but my genetics seem to have won out (females in my family all tend to have the same problems). It's a "bit" of an emergency, so while I'm healing I will probably be quiet around here a bit longer.
There have been some other things to deal with here as well, so life has been "interesting" lately.

*waves cane* The operation didn't kill me, Sarutahiko-no-okami guided the surgical team and the nurses well. I can't climb any trees yet, but I'm still spunky enough to try to get my own coffee. My guardian has his own opinion about that though...
Goruden, protective dragon that he is, is recently up to his old tricks of stealing and hiding the coffee grounds... Mom had them up on the top shelf and he went and made them "disappear" one day while my mom was out, apparently to keep me from getting up on the stairs and stretching to reach them. He could have just put them on the counter... but nooo... Oh well, I have to admit it is funny watching me try to figure out where the coffee is.
Everything is a LOT more tiring though. My family had our traditional feast yesterday for my birthday... I'm still recovering from that... Exhausted.
