Post subject: Jinja Ceremonies To Appease Tsukumogami

I read somewhere that sometimes a ceremony is preformed at a shrine on a broken or unusable item in order to prevent it from becoming an angry tsukogami.
Couldn't find much else on this. Any info? (using this for a paper)

You should have asked me this while I was in Japan!! I was friends with the priest at our local shrine, and he would have known OTL... I'll see if I can't find anything though....
