I was searching about onmyoudou in japanese sites when I found this: 安倍晴明【秘技】a secret technique of Abe no Seimei called spirit cards (my japanese is not that good, maybe my translation is wrong). So I ask, does anyone know something about it?

Can anyone tell me if these cards really are a tecnique of Abe no Seimei, or are they just pieces of paper to sell?

Reifu? It wasn't only used by Abe no Seimei, and it's still used today, particularly in shrines, where you can get ofuda. I use them from time to time myself, and the entry ticket to Kinkakuji in Kyoto is an ofuda ^^;
Though, there are some places that sell them for particular purposes (for example, when you move into a new home and you want to protect it) - like the link you supplied was for love.

But yeah, I'm sure Abe no Seimei used them, but they aren't just his, and though these reifu designs could be based off his work, the nature of reifu and ofuda aren't unique to his work alone. As for being "just a piece of paper", I suppose they have as much power as you believe they have.

Yeah, they are just doing that "Abe no Seimei (higi)" stuff for commercial purposes. I think it would be difficult to prove that Abe no Seimei himself used these particular reifu 霊符 (talisman/amulet/"spirit talisman"). Glancing through the selection, they are authentic (more or less), a number of them are Daoist in origin (possibly from the Daoist Canon or other sources). The more expensive ones (like on page 7 and 8) come with a photo of Kyouto's Abe no Seimei Jinja enclosed and are stamped with the shrine's seal, so presumably some priest at that shrine makes it for you.

I have not personally had an experience with these but i know of them and have heard accounts of them working so i would say it i legit.....now buying it online is another thing. I think you should try to get it in person from an actual priest or buy one and have someone you know "activate" it. I say activate it because in my opinion this type of thing can serve many purposes and can be set with the intent to do what is inscribed on it but also more if you can derive something more from it. For example "good fortune" can cover actual fortune as well as protection.

Actually, It would be easier/simpilar to make these yourself. Then you know for sure what goes into it, and what energies do what. It is much safer that way.
